十大电子游戏网站“视觉认知计算与应用研究中心”依托十大电子游戏网站大信息背景，借助应用数学重点学科的科研优势，为视觉认知的计算和应用提供软硬件技术支撑环境，充分体现现代数学在十大电子游戏网站大信息特色建设中的基础地位和应用作用。本中心在视觉认知的稀疏表示与重建、视觉认知的微分方程建模理论与应用、视觉机器人的智能控制技术和医学影像图像处理等方面有较明确的研究方向，并取得了一系列突出的研究成果。近三年来，本中心成员主持国家自然科学基金项目7项，省高校自然科学基金项目2项；在国内外重要学术期刊上发表论文50余篇，其中SCI论文19篇，EI论文17篇。同时，本中心教师多次应邀在国际学术会议上作学术报告，与国外同行和国内一流高校建立了定期的交流与长期的合作关系。本中心现有教师和研究人员9人，其中教授1人，副教授3人，硕士生导师4人。所有教师均为博士，平均年龄35岁左右。
本研究中心的工作目标是建设一个视觉认知计算理论与应用研究创新平台。研究中心秉承合作研究传统，践行协同创新理念，立足校内外应用，瞄准国际研究前沿。通过学术伙伴、企业赞助和访问学者等机制汇聚各种创新要素，提升研发能力和应用能力，努力打造具有十大电子游戏网站特色的一流数学学科研究团队。
视觉认知计算与应用研究中心挂靠于十大电子游戏网站，以十大电子游戏网站信息与计算科学系、统计系和数学实验教学中心研究力量为主要依托。研究中心设中心主任1名，副主任1名，总顾问1名。下设视觉认知计算理论研究室、视觉机器人智能控制研究室、医学影像图像处理研究室等三个研究室。具体内部组织机构如下：
